My favorite bird of prey is the Swallow-Tailed Kite. It's a magnificent bird of amazing beauty and grace. They are extremely agile and graceful flyers, and they can catch dragonflies and eat them while flying. They show up around April here in Central Florida, and they stay here until July. I have seen them everywhere. I've even seen them fly over my house. I saw two at one time at Viera Wetlands, and I've seen them along the Rte-417 corridor in Orange and Seminole Counties. A great place to look is around J. Blanchard Park off of Rouse Rd.
