House Sparrows are "old world" sparrows or "true" sparrows which were introduced to the United States about 150 years ago. The best place to find them, at least around me, is my local grocery store parking lot. I decided I would go there to photograph these sparrows. I also decided that doing so is much more dangerous than going to a wildlife refuge. In a refuge, you only have to deal with alligators, snakes, and an occasional bobcat. In a parking lot, you have to deal with cars. Well, it was worth the risk.
Great photos, Scott!
