I can't think of a more beautiful flower than a Passion Flower. There are over 500 species of this beautiful flower, and I've only photographed a couple species of them. The first two photos were taken at Brookside Gardens in MD and the second two taken at Orlando Wetlands Park in FL.

These are just wonderful Scott! If they weren't so rampant I'd attempt growing them..Favorite is buds and tendrils..breathtaking!

ReplyDeletePassion flowers are gorgeous, but they do take over quickly. I have a red plant and it traveled along 2 parts of a 40 foot fence, crawled all over a bouganvilia, and into a grapefruit tree. The frost we just had really took care of its aggressiveness.
