In the past I've had the opportunity to go to Istanbul, Turkey many times.  I didn't go for photography, but I was always able to bring my camera.  Istanbul has a tremendous history and wonderful architecture.  The photographs I'm going to share with you simply do not do the city justice--it's such a large city, and there's so much there.  The city is actually on two continents; the European side has the touristy destinations, but the Asian side has as much interesting photography as the European.  Some of my favorite photographs were actually taken from the ferry that crosses the Bosphorus between the two parts of the city.  Here are some photos of this beautiful city.
